We are recruiting two new team members to work on GRACE-Epi, our major new programme of research into arts and health.
Research Fellow in Epidemiology & Statistics
This position is part of a £3.5 million Wellcome Trust Discovery Award (GRACE-Epi), which explores the relationship between arts and cultural engagement and healthy ageing using epidemiological methods on a global scale. The post-holder will support this work through managing, cleaning, and harmonising datasets, and undertaking longitudinal and causal data analyses.
You should hold a PhD in statistics, medical statistics, epidemiology, quantitative social science or other relevant discipline, and be a highly motivated individual with experience in analysing cohort data using advanced longitudinal and causal statistical methods. You should also have excellent oral and written communication, and excellent ability to work to deadline.

Research & Communications Administrator
The core responsibility of the post-holder will be to support the Social Biobehavioural Research Group in its finance, administration, communications and impact activities. In particular, the post-holder will be involved in GRACE-Epi, a major new programme of work on arts and health.
The role-holder should have previous administrative experience, ideally within a similar environment, responding to diverse and fast paced workloads. They should have excellent organisation skills, with the ability to manage finances and produce communications materials to a high standard. They should be able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, showing initiative, problem solving, and flexibility to support work across different areas.
