Opportunity for Young People and Young Adults Who Have Used Community Activities (Social Prescribing) to Participate in Research

We are looking for young people (aged 11-16) and young adults (aged 17-30) who have used social prescribing for their mental health and wellbeing to take part in our research.

04 May 2023

Social Prescribing is where someone in healthcare (often called a Link Worker or Social Prescriber) helps you get better by helping you access activities such as art or sports (rather than medicine or talking treatments).

We want to know how social prescribing can help young people to improve their mood and feelings and what stops and helps young people to access it. This research may help us to understand more about how to improve social prescribing for young people to improve mental health/wellbeing.

If you are aged between 11 and 30 and have used social prescribing, we would like to talk with you in an interview. The interview would take place online and would last a maximum of 1 hour. You will receive a £10 voucher for taking part.

If you would be interested in participating or would like some more information about the research, please contact: d.hayes@ucl.ac.uk
