SPYN Member Meetup & Symposium

Join our SPYN events coming up in early 2026! We're holding a Member Meetup on 23rd January and organising a Youth Social Prescribing Symposium with our partners, the National Academy for Social Prescribing and Southbank Centre, on 3rd February.

17 December 2025

The Social Prescribing Youth Network (SPYN) is a free network for anyone interested in social prescribing for children, young people and families. In the new year, we are organising two exciting events!

SPYN Member Meetup: Winter 2026

In our next Member Meetup we’ll be spotlighting several Network members who will each give a brief 10 minute presentation on their youth social prescribing work, sharing example projects, learning and top tips. Come along to the event to hear from peers working across the country and get inspiration for your own work! This is an opportunity for Network members to share and learn from examples of youth social prescribing across the country.

This online event is free to attend and open to all – Link Workers, social prescribing coordinators, voluntary and community workers, policymakers, commissioners, funders, health professionals, researchers all welcome. Whether you’ve been with SPYN from the start in 2018 or just found us recently, we want to see you there.

Interested in speaking? Don’t be shy – we want provide space for a range of people and experiences. Presentations will be followed by time for discussion and forming connections with fellow network members. Please email us on spyn@ucl.ac.uk if you’d like to put forward yourself or your team forward to speak.

The event will take place online on Friday, 23rd January, 12 – 1pm GMT.
